California Shirt Printer’s Pre-Press Department consists of four divisions.

Art Department
is capable of reproducing artwork using a variety of separation techniques such as spot, index, simulated process and 4-color process
A Digital Imagesetter is used to produce Film Output.
A client's art can conveniently be submitted on CD, Zip disk, floppy disk, email or FTP upload.

Screen Department
uses only screens that will produce the highest quality print.
California Shirt Printer uses both stretch and glue and retentionable frames to retain the highest level of quality.

Ink Department
uses the Rutland M2 system which enables California Shirt Printer to reproduce colors from order to reorder.
We also stock a variety of specialty inks to keep a clients product original and cutting edge. They include glows, metallics, glitters, reflectives, gels, foils, and more.

Sample Department
allows clients to approve the print, and make necessary changes before it goes into production. This is completed quickly and efficiently as the sample department is well equipped with a 14 color automatic print machine and three 14 color manual presses, as well as heat presses and their own dedicated drying oven.
